I am very glad you have chosen Riverton City to be your city. Jeanne, my wife, and I have raised our eight children in this wonderful community. We have found Riverton to be a great community for our children, grandchildren and ourselves. The schools, shopping centers, recreational opportunities, safe neighborhoods, sports, and musical events have all contributed to a wonderful lifestyle. The good news is that it will only get better. We are a growing city and have a lot of new businesses calling Riverton.

I invite you to join with your neighbors and other residents to become involved in the City.  Riverton City Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays at City Hall beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Planning and Zoning Commission meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at City Hall beginning at 6:30 p.m. I encourage you to come and participate in the continued success of Riverton City!  There are no newcomers to Riverton, just residents.  Everyone has an equal say in city government. 

I  would also invite you and your family to attend the many family activities organized by the City. Some examples include the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Riverton City Rodeo, Town Days Celebration, Halloween Activities, the Annual City Christmas Tree Lighting, and other various recreational activities. You may contact City Hall with any questions or concerns.  Your input is greatly appreciated.
