City Council

City Council holds meetings on the first and third Tuesday of the month beginning at 6:30 p.m. Meeting are held in the Council Chambers on the second floor at Riverton City Hall located at 12830 S. Redwood Road.

1. Regular City Council Meetings are held on the FIRST TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH

Regular City Council - Meetings Include the Following Items:

• Riverton Choice Awards
• Scout Recognition/Participation
• Public Comment Period
• Business Items Including:

                        Staff Reports
                        Public Hearings
                        Ordinances 
                        Resolutions
                        Discussions and Action Items
                        Mayor/Council Reports 

2. Work Sessions are held on the THIRD TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH

Work Sessions - Include the Following Items:

• Various topics of discussion
• No  Council actions are taken
• No public comments are allowed

It is our intent to post the agenda to the website two days prior to a meeting. However, sometimes we encounter delays in posting to the website. We understand this is a convenient service to residents and in the case of a delayed posting, an agenda will always be available at the following locations:

• Riverton City Hall
• Riverton Library
