Constructing a Mailbox? Thursday, January 03, 2008 - 07:50 AM Please keep in mind Riverton City Water has infrastructure on many property lines between residential homes and in the city park strips. In order for us to properly maintain the secondary system, we need a 3 foot clear space around these utilities. Water employees cannot do their job if obstructions, such as large, brick mailboxes are too close to water valves. Please keep your mailboxes 3 feet away from hydrants, stop and waste valves and street lights. If you are unsure, please call Riverton Water so we can help you identify what is in the area.
