Stormwater

The Stormwater Division administers the stormwater utility, Stormwater Management Plan, stormwater capital facility projects, Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit, and Sector P Industrial Permit.  The Stormwater Division was created to satisfy the requirements of The Utah Clean Water Act (the Act).  The Act requires Riverton City to file and meet requirements of the MS4 and Sector P Industrial Permits.  In summary, those permits require the implementation of programs that minimize pollution to our water resources that we all enjoy.
