NOVEMBER GENERAL ELECTIONS - November 6, 2007

It would be wise for you to sign up for Permanent Vote by Mail(www.clerk.slco.org).  Go to your County Elections website, make sure you are a registered voter and then fill out the application for Permanent Vote by Mail and return it in the mail. Once the County receives your application, they will automatically mail you a ballot for every election that you are eligible to vote… you vote and return it in the mail… How easy and convenient is that? City Recorders are encouraging Permanent Vote by Mail because elections are so expensive for cities to run and this would help cut costs of an election.

Who? All registered Utah/Riverton Residents

          To Register To Vote In Utah, You Must:
Be a citizen of the United States;
Be at least 18 years old;
Be a resident of Utah for at least 30 days immediately before the election;
Not be a convicted felon currently incarcerated.

          Remember to re-register:
When your name or address has changed;
When you want to register with a political party or change political parties.

What?            The Ballot will include:
                        School Voucher Referendum
                        Riverton City Council Candidates for District 1, 2, and 5
