Are you, or an older adult you know, struggling to remain independent? Do you need help to remain living in your home or are you a caregiver looking for community resources to help take care of an aging loved one? Perhaps you’re a senior who’s relatively healthy and active and is looking for opportunities to stay that way.
Aging Services is the division of Salt Lake County government responsible for providing just these types of services to seniors and their caregivers who reside in Salt Lake County.

Did you know that people 60 and older make up the fastest growing segment of our population? In order to meet the increasing needs of seniors with a limited amount of resources, Salt Lake County Aging Services needs your help today. Volunteer opportunities include:
Helping elderly adults remain in their homes;
Mentoring struggling children in academics;
Transporting older adults to and from vital medical appointments and;
Delivering hot meals to homebound seniors.
