Riverton City and the American Red Cross are hosting a blood drive on May 23, 2007 from 11:00 a.m - 4:00 p.m. We hope you'll join us in donating blood to help others. Kick off the new year with a walking program geared for everyone! From March 19th to May 7th, Riverton will have eight organized walks at one or our city parks or trails.

As part of the Safe Community USA nonprofit public service program, the Riverton City Emergency Preparedness Team would like you to consider giving a gift this holiday season that could save lives. Through Riverton City, residents are able to purchase emergency medical kits at half of their retail price. You can purchase either a Citizen Kit valued at $85.00 for only $39.95 or a Police Car Kit valued at $130.00 for only $63.70 (tax included). Riverton City will receive $5.00 for every kit purchased to help build the City’s emergency medical stockpile. Orders must be placed by December 15, 2006.
